Scottish Labour leader Anas Sarwar is under pressure to explain whether his party support the "dangerous" self-identification process put forward by the SNP. It comes amid a split between Sir Keir Starmer's UK Labour and his Scottish counterparts. A number of Scottish Labour MSPs, including former leader Richard Leonard and Monica Lennon, have spoken out against the decision from the UK Branch. “UK Labour seem to accept, with hindsight, that they got this policy badly wrong. We need to know if the Scottish Labour leader is willing to admit the same, which is why I have written to him.
