It comes amid a split between Sir Keir Starmer's UK Labour and his Scottish counterparts. A number of Scottish Labour MSPs, including former leader Richard Leonard and Monica Lennon, have spoken out against the decision from the UK Branch. “UK Labour seem to accept, with hindsight, that they got this policy badly wrong. We need to know if the Scottish Labour leader is willing to admit the same, which is why I have written to him.
