The Scottish Green Party have been silent on the outcome of a suspension of controversial trans activist Beth Douglas over Tweets accused of "inciting violence". The Scottish Greens have been asked to put on record the progress of their investigation and whether not Douglas will be allowed back to the public facing" representative role for LGBT+ members of the Scottish Greens. There are also images of Douglas holding an axe and a knife circulating social media. Holding up a knife in a threatening way, one of the captions for the images says "I heard yall hate trans women, knives and axes". At the time, Scottish Conservative MSP Pam Gosal said “The Scottish Greens should have disassociated themselves from this individual and her remarks, but have allowed Beth Douglas to continue in a prominent role within their party.
