Interim manager Martin O'Neill hopes Celtic will be granted the full ticket allocation available to them for next month's Scottish Cup quarter-final against Rangers at Ibrox. Teams in the Scottish Cup have the right to claim up to 20% of tickets, which at Ibrox is more than 10,000. Traditionally, around 7,500 Celtic fans filled the Broomloan Stand for Old Firm derbies at Ibrox, but their allocation was reduced to fewer than 1,000 by Rangers in 2018. Since then, away allocations at both Ibrox and Celtic Park have fluctuated between about 750 and zero in a series of tit-for-tat moves. O'Neill says it would be "fantastic" to see a large Celtic contingent return to Govan.
