Smith joined Colls last season and has impressed new manager Craig Rouse to be seen as a big part of his plans for the next campaign in the Northern Premier. He is looking forward to a big season ahead when football hopefully gets back to normal. Colls won 6-0 with their other goals coming from Vaughan Redford (two penalties), Eli Hey (two) and Gavin Rothery, also from the spot. They were in action last Saturday when they finished their mid season matches with a 5-3 victory over Goole.
