Adventurer Alice Morrison, from Edinburgh, trekked 870 miles on foot through the Morocco's mountains as part of the Atlas Expedition. Alice said: "I have witnessed first-hand how even the most remote nomadic tribes have been affected." (Image: PA)On a journey under constant threat of being abandoned because of Covid-19, the explorer discovered the huge impact the disease is having. The nomads of the region live a deeply traditional lifestyle dependent on their flocks, selling sheep and goats to buy essentials.
