Its mountains are iconic and the circular route, which leaves from the village of Achiltibuie, will take you past the likes of Sula Bheinn, Cùl Mòr and Stac Pollaidh. However, a word of warning: VisitScotland describes the Assynt Achiltibuie Circular as "challenging" so make sure you are well prepared before taking it on.
