Scots will face the country’s biggest snowfall in more than a decade in the next week, according to experts. Meteorologists are predicting significant disruption as an arctic blast gets ready to send Scotland into a deep freeze - the likes of which have not been seen in at least 14 years. Exacta Weather forecaster James Madden predicts we could see snow right across the country and says the snow risk is greater than any year since 2010. Advanced weather modelling maps from WX Charts say that snow could cover almost the entire country by the end of next week. Elevated regions in the Brecon Beacons and Cairngorms National Park could see around 40cm settled on the ground by Sunday, January 21.
