Scotland's takeaway capital has been named as Glasgow as the city comes in second the UK for its sheer number of takeaway options. Research has shown Glasgow only comes second to Birmingham which has the most takeaways (875) of all UK local authority areas. Indeed, Glasgow has the most takeaway options in Scotland with 10.8 takeaways per 10,000 people. Our map shows the rate of takeaway orders for each local authority across the UK.
