The move, which will be in place for 12 weeks, was announced by First Minister Nicola Sturgeon this afternoon. It comes as work is carried out to turn the Scottish Exhibition Centre (SEC) into a temporary hospital for coronavirus patients. The Scottish First Minister said screening for bowel cancer will also be affected by the suspension.
