It seems Humza Yousaf’s break with Patrick Harvie’s Scottish Greens was a public relations exercise for the SNP. With the Greens blocking the motion, we now have an SNP still beholden to an unelectable collection of failures. Scotland cannot be allowed to continue its descent into the chaos about to be created by another two years of “continuity politics”. Why the First Minster is paid more than the UK Prime Minister is a conundrum that only Tony Blair can unlock. It seems our politicians are just as interested in keeping their jobs as UK politicians.
