Two siblings on Friday escape death as a two-storey building that was under construction, collapsed at Marine Quarters in Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State. The building collapsed few minutes past 1:00 p.m, also affected parts of two other near residential houses one of which the two siblings lived. The younger, a lady, who had rushed to call her brother who was asleep in the adjourning house in one of the two impacted houses, escaped death by the whiskers with his brother. Furthermore, no life was lost because scores of builders usually working on the building were said to be absent from the site due to heavy afternoon downpour. Residents of the area were seen thanking God that no lives were lost, just as a welder working on the site was seen evacuating his welding machine and other equipment.
