Scopely first took a strategic minority position in DIGIT as the companies began developing what became Star Trek Fleet Command. Fleet Command's characters are based on those in the J.J. Abrams-directed era of Star Trek movies, which feature Chris Pine as a young Capt. The company is also considering expanding the game beyond mobile, to other game platforms such as consoles and PCs. "We think Star Trek Fleet Command can live on other platforms in the future." The Star Trek title is on a pace to soon eclipse $100 million in revenues, and to "dramatically exceed that amount orders of magnitude" over time.
