The reopening event will be a fundraiser with all proceeds going to the new Beatrice Elementary School and the Beatrice Humane Society. There will be a bounce house from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. and a dunk tank with teachers as the dunkees. The Humane Society will offer $5 microchipping (cash only) from 1-4 p.m. Dogs must be friendly to strangers, leashed and collared with their legal owner, and remain the vehicle.
