Amita Singh, who was playing Arjun Kapoor's mother in the upcoming Mubarkan is said to have walked out of the film. Producer Murad Khetani is quoted saying, "Amrita couldn't do the film due to date issues and we have Ratna on board. Her portion which was initially scheduled to be shot in November-December in London will now happen sometime in January. Mubarakan revolves around an extended Punjabi family that attends a destination wedding in the UK. Arjun will be seen playing a double role as Karanveer Singh and Charanveer Singh.
