Education PS Belio Kipsang has revised the school closing dates to avoid disruption of classes during elections. Kipsang, in a directive issued to county education regional coordinators and other officials, said schools will close between July 28 and August 4. However, the opening dates for term three will remain unchanged, Kipsang said. Nearly all learning institutions will serve as polling stations while members of staff will be engaged as polling officers during the August 8 polls. Kipsang warned politicians against having partisan political activities within learning institutions.
