HALIFAX—Schools across Halifax are closed on Wednesday as a major winter storm is forecast to sweep across the province. Halifax Regional Centre for Education announced before 6 a.m. that all schools were closing due to the weather. Halifax along with much of Nova Scotia is under a winter storm warning, with anywhere between 15 and 25 cm of snow possible.
