IPOH: The schoolboys who are believed to have been sodomised by a school football team physiotherapist here will sent for counselling. Perak CID chief Senior Asst Comm Datuk Gan Tian Kee said counselling was important as the incidents could affect the thoughts and character of the victims. "It can be traumatic when they become adults," he said after a handover ceremony between outgoing deputy state CID chief Supt Datin Seri Halimahton Ahmad and Asst Comm Anuar Othman here on Tuesday. The 54-year-old physiotherapist, who was suspected of sodomising several schoolboys, was found dead in a hotel room here last week. The victims said that after assaulting them, the man would buy them clothes, pants, shoes and handphones.
