RANGPUR, Nov 20, 2024 (BSS)– School students at an awareness discussion today vowed to prevent child marriage, drug abuse, misuse of mobile phones and activities of teenage gangs to ensure moral education and social security. Gangachara model police station organised the awareness raising discussion for school students at Gangachara Government Model High School premises . Presided over by headmaster of the school Md Abdul Akhter Miah, teachers and students of the school were present. All the students present at the program took an oath to stop child marriage and prevent drug abuse. In another discussion held at Gangachara Aliya Madrasa premises today, Officer-in-Charge of Gangachara model police station Md Al Imran said the program will continue in all educational institutions to prevent social curses and ensure social security in the upazila.
