Officials say the suspect and his second wife, her brother planned the murderKARACHI: After less than two weeks, the police claimed on Sunday to have solved the murder of a private school principal who was killed under mysterious circumstances in District East. A private school principal, Ambreen Fatima, was shot dead on December 10 when she and her husband, Ali Hassan, were on their way home in Soldier Bazaar after attending an event with their relatives. Later, the police also arrested the suspect’s second wife, Sahar Shams, and her brother Balaaj. The police revealed that Hassan worked as an administrator at the same school Ambreen was working at as principal while Shams was employed there as a teacher. Police officials said that Shams and Ambreen were also friends and that Shams and Hassan had gotten married in secret.
