A SCHOOL in Bolton is among the top ten best schools in the North West. Today the top performing schools in the Northwest are revealed in Parent Power, The Sunday Times Schools Guide 2022. Bolton School girls' division is placed sixth in the table of top 10 independent schools in the North West ranked by their examination results from 2017-19. Head of the Bolton School Foundation, Philip Britton, added: "The position in the table is particularly pleasing because we know that behind the stats are so many individual success stories. Top of the regional table is Withington Girls' School in Manchester, with the table dominated by schools across Greater Manchester.
