Shots were fired in a home in Cambridge Thursday morning and police have taken a man into custody. The shots were fired Thursday around 8:30 a.m. at a home on Eagle Street South. During the investigation, officers shut down a number of roads in the area including Hamilton, Moore, Vine and Sherring. Shortly before 11:00 a.m. a safety hold and secure of schools in the area was lifted. UPDATE: The hold and secure @prewrdsb, Grand View PS and @Preston_Panther has been lifted.
