School heads and the Kenya National Union of Teachers have come out to explain the situation facing teachers in the face of the coronavirus pandemic. Kenya Secondary Schools Heads Association (Kessha) chairman Kahi Indimuli said the teachers are ready to go back to class any time they are required. “They are at home because of the current situation where they can’t be in class because of the virus. But principals, head teachers and other senior teachers are on duty, just making sure that everything is alright at the schools,” Mr Indimuli said.
