A school bus driver was killed and several others were seriously injured Sunday after the bus veered off a roadway Denver International Airport and crashed into a concrete wall, officials said. The crash of the Adams 12 Five Star Schools district bus took place at 4:08 p.m., airport spokesman Heath Montgomery said. Officials with University Hospital told Fox 31 they received five patients from the accident, although it’s unclear what the conditions are. The bus was from Legacy High School, Fox 31 reported. The school is located in Broomfield, Colo. and is part of Adams 12 Five Star Schools.
