Proposed changes to school Board of Trustees seem to have had no impact on the number of potential trustees in South Canterbury as the nomination deadline looms. School Boards of Trustees are responsible for the employment of all school staff, and help direct the school's focus and strategic goals. MYTCHALL BRANSGROVE/STUFF Timaru South School principal Mike Hogan said people who are nominated for the school's board usually want to give their time and expertise for everyone associated with the school. JOHN BISSET/STUFF Bluestone School principal Ian Poulter said the school has received the required number of nominations for its board. School Board of Trustee elections are held every three years.
