Schengen visa fee increases by 20 euros from February


The new price excludes the additional fee levied by the travel agency of Bt800 per visa. The new rate will be applicable for all 26 members of the Schengen group. Those who frequently travel in and out of Schengen countries and have a clean travel record can apply for a visa for a maximum period of 5 years. Furthermore, when the new rate becomes effective, travellers can apply for a visa up to six months in advance (from the previous three months). The 26 countries in the Schengen group are: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.
