Minister of Investment and International Cooperation Sahar Nasr met with Naguib Sawiris, the chairperson of Orascom Telecom Media and Technology Holding, at the headquarters of the ministry in Salah Salem street. Sawiris started the meeting by thanking the minister for her efforts in improving the investment environment, her ongoing meetings with investors, and her continuous pursuit of diminishing any obstacles facing investors’ work. Nasr emphasised that she is responsible for solving any problems related to investors, which is a top priority in the ministry’s agenda. Nasr pointed out that the current stage requires uniting all investors in order to support the Egyptian economy and establishing a number of projects that contribute to raising the standard of living of the Egyptian people. Sawiris aspires to inject new investments to the Egyptian market over the next three months, within the framework of the measures announced for the economic reform and improving the investment climate in Egypt.
