Irish Life Assurance has appointed Savills to manage its portfolio of multi-let commercial properties – comprising almost 50 buildings – in a deal understood to be the largest property management mandate ever awarded in Ireland. Last month, Savills first mentioned the deal with Irish Life during its full-year earnings call with analysts. In response to questions, Savills said it had been appointed to manage the portfolio and provide property management services. Property management can cover areas such as building operation, energy and lease management, financial accounting and occupier services. Savills’ website said it has property management professionals based in Dublin, Cork and Belfast.
