The doctor used to work at the Emergency Department of the Sadar Upazila Health Complex, confirmed, Dr Sayemul Huda, an official of the hospital and Family Planning Department. He said: “We sent samples of 10 people working on the hospital to the Institute of Epidemiology Disease Control And Research (IEDCR) out of suspicion.”Later, the results showcased confirming nine of them were negative and the doctor was tested positive for the deadly virus, the doctor added. “We sent the infected doctor to Kurmitola General Hospital for proper treatment,” said Dr Sayemul.
