Philadelphia Phillies mascot Phillie Phanatic surprised the cast of the “Today” show by popping up during their shoot on Thursday morning, but Savannah Guthrie didn’t seem too happy to see him. We think NBC should hire someone should surprise Savannah Guthrie on a daily basis. “He came out of nowhere - just a flash of green,” Guthrie tweeted in an effort to explain her dramatic reaction. The mascot ran toward Guthrie and the other “Today” hosts and her reaction was one of utter fear. The moment was captured by “Today” cameras, and the show shared Guthrie’s ridiculous reaction with fans on Twitter.
