New Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin floated the possibility of targeting “sanctuary” cities in a new way while speaking with Fox News' Bret Baier on Monday. “Some of these cities have international airports. If they’re a sanctuary city, should they really be processing customs into their city?” Mullin said. “Seriously, if they’re a sanctuary city and they’re receiving international flights, and we’re asking them to partner with us at the airport, but once they walk out of the airport, they’re not going to enforce immigration policy? Were Mullin to pull customs agents from major airports in cities like San Francisco and New York City, travel could be affected for millions of people who pass through these locations.
