Saudi court issues final verdicts in Khashoggi killing


A Saudi court has issued final verdicts in the case of killed Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi after his son announced pardons that spared five of the convicted individuals from execution. Turkish officials allege Mr Khashoggi was killed and then dismembered with a bone saw inside the consulate. Salah Khashoggi lives in Saudi Arabia and has received financial compensation from the royal court for his father’s killing. Mr Khashoggi left Saudi Arabia for the US just as Prince Mohammed was beginning to detain writers and critics in late 2017.
