In support of the new law that allows women to drive, a Saudi band released a new rendition of Steppenwolf’s famous song “Born to Be Wild” titled “Saudi girls will drive.”The band,”Most of Us,” comprises of four members: Hasan Hatrash, Khalid Sharani, Amro Hawari and Amir Abbas. The viral video begins with two Saudi men in traditional outfits sitting in the backseat of an SUV, as a Saudi woman takes the wheel and drives them to a studio where they record the song. Now it’s time to drive, drive me around. Saudi girls will drive, Sister you will drive. Since then, Saudi women are being encouraged to learn how to drive.
