This came in the speech delivered by the acting permanent delegate to the United Nations, Dr. Khaled bin Mohammed Manzlawi during the UN Security Council’s virtual meeting today. He said the kingdom supports the important role played by the United Nations in promoting mediation efforts and diplomacy to resolve the region’s conflicts by peaceful means. He stated the kingdom supports the United Nations efforts to reach a political solution to the Yemeni crisis in accordance with the Gulf initiative, the outcomes of the comprehensive national dialogue conference and relevant Security Council resolutions, especially Resolution No.
