According to the foreign ministry, Abdullah MH Almutairi said an evaluation team from Saudi Arabia will visit Bangladesh shortly to discuss the issue in details with the authorities here. He met State Minister for Foreign Affairs Md Shahriar Alam on Tuesday at his office where they exchanged views on bilateral as well as regional and international issues. Alam also thanked Saudi Arabia for successfully holding the summit-level meeting of the OIC Contact Group on Rohingya Minority in New York. Saudi Arabia has already sent 100 tonnes of relief materials for Rohingyas to be distributed through the International Organization for Migration (IOM). He said Saudi Arabia will continue to provide support to ensure the return of the forcibly displaced nationals to Myanmar.
