Authorities in Saudi Arabia released a prominent member of the movement for women’s right to drive on Wednesday, days after she was detained in a wave of arrests targeting rights activists that drew international criticism. Aisha al-Mana, 70 years old, is the only activist known to have been released so far. At least nine other people remain in detention, and it is unclear when or if they will be released.
