District and Sessions Judge Sheikh Mofizur Rahman issued the order on Thursday afternoon, with the accused Shahed present in the dock. Subsequently, Shahed was sent back to Satkhira jail after the court fixed February 23 as the date for hearing statements of witnesses in the cases. Speaking to Dhaka Tribune, Satkhira District and Sessions Judge Court Public Prosecutor (PP) Advocate Abdul Latif said: “The court framed charges against Shahed after he was produced before it on Thursday afternoon. Shahed Karim was then made only accused in the case and remanded for 10 days.
