Yuka Saso AFP FILE PHOTOFILIPINO golfer Yuka Saso finished joint fourth at the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship on Monday (Philippine time) at the Pinnacle Golf Club in Rogers, Arizona. Saso, who carded 2-under 69 and 6-under 65 in the first and second round, respectively, fired 65 anew in the third and final round for a total of 14-under 199 to share the fourth spot with American Danielle Kang. The reigning US Open Women's champion, who is half Japanese, scored a birdie on the sixth and an eagle on the seventh hole. The 20-year-old Saso incurred bogeys on 11th and 14th, but tallied a birdie in between on the 12th. She then scored birdies on the 15th and 17th holes before finishing the course with an eagle on the 18th to win a prize of $104,506 or P5.3 million.
