Saskatchewan Roughriders quarterback Zach Collaros is to earn in the neighbourhood of $300,000 including base salary and a signing bonus, per the terms of his new contract with the CFL team. After the Roughriders obtained Collaros from the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in January of 2018, his compensation was renegotiated down to $430,000, from $500,000-plus. Brandon Bridge started at quarterback for the Roughriders in that home playoff game. Rod Pedersen, the former radio voice of the Roughriders, reported Saturday that Saskatchewan did not offer Bridge a new contract. Saskatchewan has three quarterbacks under contract for 2019 — Collaros, Cody Fajardo and David Watford.
