FORT QU’APPELLE, SASK.—A murder charge has been laid against an 18-year-old in the weekend death of a 17-year-old on a reserve northeast of Regina. RCMP say officers from the File Hills Police Service responded to a report of a fight inside a home on the Star Blanket First Nation on Friday evening. Mounties were called in to help with the investigation and say they have charged 18-year-old Shauntay Keewatin with second-degree murder. Keewatin is also from the Star Blanket First Nation. He was to make his first court appearance on the charge in Fort Qu’Appelle provincial court today.
