A 23-year-old Sarnia man is taking his family's weightlifting legacy to the upcoming Tokyo Olympics. Boady Santavy has set records for his weight class in Canadian, Pan American and commonwealth competitions. Last week he delivered a silver-medal performance at the Pan American Games' senior weightlifting championships in the Dominican Republic. His father, also a Pan American champion, will act as head coach for Team Canada in Tokyo. Santavy's father, also a Pan American champion, will act as head coach for Team Canada.
