MIRI: Sarawak police have refuted social media reports of a baby-snatching incident in Kuching. SAC Dev said the cops had identified the Facebook user who posted about the incident and summoned him to the Kota Sentosa police station for questioning. The man admitted that he did not witness any baby-snatching incident but had heard about the allegations and that he then posted about it online. SAC Dev said the Facebook user had been let off with a stern warning. "It would not have been an issue if the man posted about the actual snatch incident and warned others about the criminals.
