KUALA LUMPUR: Sarawak Report editor Clare Rewcastle-Brown reportedly arrived in Malaysia yesterday. An online portal quoted Rewcastle-Brown as saying that her arrival went by smoothly, believed to be in reference to an arrest warrant issued against her in 2015 by Bukit Aman. Rewcastle-Brown told the online portal that she had spoken to a few friends who convinced her it was now safe for her to enter Malaysia. Sarawak Report which was previously blocked in Malaysia is now accessible, according to the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC). The commission, in a statement, said there was no longer a need to block online sites Sarawak Report and Medium after the report on 1MDB was made public.
