KUCHING (Jan 11): Sarawak Chief Minister Tan Sri Adenan Satem has died in Kuching today at the age of 72. In an interview last year, Adenan revealed that he almost died due to a heart ailment four years ago. I called all my relatives, my children and grandchildren,” he said in an interview with Bernama before the Sarawak state election last year. Adenan had taken over as Sarawak Chief Minister from Tun Abdul Taib Mahmud, in February 2014. He later led Barisan Nasional to a stunning victory in the Sarawak State election by winning 72 seats.
