Sarasota Ballet marks an end and a beginning with Graziano program

Ricardo Graziano joined the Sarasota Ballet in 2010 and, before a series of injuries kept him sporadically sidelined, contributed many a memorable performance. Interestingly, this is Graziano’s only creation in which a piece of music was not the choreographer’s initial inspiration. The Sarasota Ballet has staked its reputation on performing more works by Frederick Ashton than any other company in the world, and “Sonatina,” from 2021, evidenced the influence of the British choreographer’s work on Graziano.
