Sarajevo Film Festival’s CineLink Industry Days has chosen nine feature projects from Southeast Europe and the Middle East/North Africa region for its work-in-progress strand. The seven fiction and two documentary projects will be presented online to industry professionals, with the aim of assisting completion and enhancing distribution possibilities. The projects will compete for three awards: the Post Republic award (€50,000 in kind), the CineLink Iridium award (€20,000 in kind), and the Turkish National Radio Television award (€25,000 in cash). “This year’s selection is one of the possible answers to the question how the film industry is responding to the pandemic,” said Amra Bakšić Čamo, head of CineLink. It had previously been one of the few major events attempting to hold a physical edition this summer.
