MANILA, Philippines — Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio on Wednesday said nothing is final yet in her brother Paolo Duterte’s resignation as the city's vice mayor. Earlier, Sara said the decision on whether to accept or reject the resignation rested with the office of their father, President Rodrigo Duterte. On Christmas Day, Paolo tendered his resignation citing family problems and the allegations of being involved in the P6.4 billion shabu smuggling.
