Tunde AjajaThe Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Friday, announced 100 per cent increase in the allowances of Lagos State Traffic Management Authority officials. He said this was to encourage and motivate the workers in the performance of their duties, adding that it was in fulfilment of his vision to make traffic management and transportation number one priority in his administration. The governor made the announcement during an interactive session with the staff of the agency when he paid an official visit to the operation’s headquarters. Some LASTMA staff, who spoke during the session, appealed to the governor to assist the agency in areas such as equipment, medical treatment and insurance for them to deliver more efficiently.
