When asked if he would make a special appearance in the film, Dutt replied he was unaware of any such plans. Ajay Devgn and Sanjay Dutt were originally set to reprise their roles as Billu and Jassi, respectively. Despite multiple attempts to secure a UK visa, he had been unsuccessful since his arrest in 1993.
