Rajput organisations protesting the Sanjay Leela Bhansali movie Padmaavat on Saturday quashed the reports of ‘withdrawing protest against the movie’. Founder of the Rajput Karni Sena Lokendra Singh Kalvi and Shri Rahtriya Rajput Karni Sena president Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi held press briefing to state the official stand of their groups. They were furious about a reported ‘letter’ by a few leaders of ‘Karni Sena’, in which they declared that they’re withdrawing the protest against the movie. While Kalvi also took a jibe at other organisations with similar names, the president of SRRKS Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi had some explanation on his hand. The Rajput leaders said that the letter was an attempt to mislead the protest against the movie and split the community.
