Sang wants State to reveal owner of Sh1.3b cocaine ship after Joho spat

Nandi Governor Stephen Sang now wants the State to reveal the owner of the ship blown up in Mombasa by President Uhuru Kenyatta in 2014 that had 370.8 kgs of heroin valued at Sh1.3 billion. Through his lawyer Danstan Omari, Sang has written to all state agencies requesting for information relating to the details of ownership of the defunct ship known as Amin Darya/MV Alnoor that was blown up in Mombasa. Sang has questioned why the owners of the ship have not been unmasked approximately five years down the line since the ship was blown up. Early this month, Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho sued Sang, MPs Oscar Sudi, Kimani Ichung’wah and Didmus Barasa for allegedly spreading lies that he was a drug trafficker. The governor wants the information in order to help him vindicate himself in the lawsuit filed by Joho against him.
